Introduction

Designing coherent instruction is listed as the heart of planning, reflecting on my knowledge of content and the students in the class, the intended outcomes of instruction, and the available resources that my students and I have.

Below you will find a list of applications and descriptions of projects used in my 6th grade ELA/RDG class to support why I choose Domain 1e for my Portfolio Assessment.

 PREZI

 

Prezi is a cloud- based presentation software.  It is used as a story telling tool for showing ideas on a virtual canvas.  Users are allowed to zoom in and out of their presentation to enhance and “show off” their researched information.  

6^th GRADE RESEARCH PROJECT

 

In 6^th Grade students are expected to be exposed to the process of choosing a research project, navigating through the databases on the library page, be able to highlight, take notes for a purpose and demonstrate what they have learned through a finished product.
